Future Rebels Girls at Moorabbin this Sunday 16th

Here is an update to you all on our latest initiative for our junior girls. For the first time, we will be running girls only program, targeted towards junior girls aged between 8 – 13yrs old.
Future Rebels aim is to bring young girls playing rugby together, to provide an opportunity to connect, play, learn, and build their confidence in all aspects of rugby – socially, physically and mentally. Each session will have particular fundamental skill focuses, with fun games at the end of each session.
An invite has gone out directly to girls registered playing rugby, and we will also promote the sessions on social media from next week to target new girls to the game. Please get the word out in your community for any girls 8 – 13yrs (turning 13 in 2023) to come and join in on the fun.

16th July 11am – 12:30pm - Moorabbin RC
30th July 11am – 12:30pm - Brimbank RC
13th August 11am – 12:30pm - Box Hill RC
27th August 11am – 12:30pm - Northern Panthers RC
Post the junior grand final day, we will continue with the Future Rebels program for 4 consecutive weeks with trainings to be on a Wednesday evening at 5pm starting on the 13th of September. This will conclude with U13s (11,12,13) and U10s (8,9,10) games. Girls will be split into teams based on where they live (where possible) for a girls only battle of the bridge game. Games will be scheduled for Saturday 7th of October.
