Moorabbin Rugby Club have a proud history of of success with 15 First Grade Premiership wins making it one of the most successful Clubs on the Victorian Rugby scene. Our club has produced representatives at State level, Super Rugby Competition and the Rugby World Cup and many playing in professional clubs all round the world. We draw strength and inspiration from this proud history, to continue to work hard and build on this legacy so the Rams can continue to inspire future generations. Pre-season

It’s time to start building for the 2024 season.

Pull out those boots, find your water bottles and we’ll see you at the Club, Keys Rd, for a 6:00pm start on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
First session of the year kicks off on Tuesday 16th of January 2024.

Our Club

Moorabbin Rugby Club have dedicated rugby facilities with modern club rooms, two playing fields, canteen and gym facilities. Conveniently located on Keys Road, Moorabbin, in the heart of Kingston City Council, Harold Caterson Reserve is within easy access to neighbouring Bayside, Frankston and Casey cities and is in close proximity to the M11 freeway and the surrounding areas. As a rugby specific facility, we have the opportunity for year round rugby and training activities which include Touch Rugby and Sevens Rugby as well as hosting a number of Rugby Tournaments throughout the year.

COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to announce that the Dewar Shield Coaching Team will be led by Masi Tusitala and Ben Perenise has been appointed Director of Rugby.The Coaching group for the Dewar Shield team is:

Masi Tusitala - Head Coach
Sesa Lalotoa - Assistant Coach / Technical Specialist
Steve Fualau - Assistant Coach / Technical Specialist

The coaching appointments for 2024 and beyond are a significant decision for the Club. Looking ahead to 2024, we sought not only a skilled and talented coaching team but more importantly coaches that knew our Club, loved our Club and ultimately had an enduring passion for the success of our Club. We have big plans for the future and we strongly believe the Leadership Team of Coaches we've appointed, have the stuff it takes to make this vision a reality for our Club.

We congratulate Ben and Masi on their appointments and look forward to seeing the teams in action in 2024.

Pre-Season training:

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 - 7:30pm

Senior Training during Season:

Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
