Jackson Ephraims, son of Darren Ephraims, was selected to play in NZs elite competition to continue his great run in the sport. Unfortunately the competition was cancelled due to national scheduling issues, but we hope to see Jackson continue to develop his game down the track.

In 2013 a couple of players from America landed in country and made themselves valued members of our Moorabbin club. James Leonard and Nick Sacheli both met former Moorabbin player and committee member Ashley Hudson while he was on a study exchange in the States. Three years later they made the trip to Melbourne and joined the club. James is currently in Detroit working as a Chiropractor and Nick is in New York working hard as an Artist and is still involved with the game as a coach with the Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) University team.
