Vale Jeffrey Robinson

It is with heavy hearts we say farewell good fellow, Jeff Robinson, a fine rugby man and immense local personality.

Jeff was a passionate man in many ways. He was an industry leader in sustainability, and committed his professional life to how he could influence anyone and everyone to have a better quality of life.

Generous with his time, he presented more than once at the club’s match day lunches and taking a genuine interest in every single person he met, he would leave you better for the experience.

Jeff made many friends at the club and formed part of the affectionately known “Irish Mafia”. A former colleague, Club President Arvind David said “Jeff’s enduring legacy for us is his belligerent pursuit of what most felt was beyond reach, and he got there often. He fitted so many people into his day, it seemed his mission in life was to bring as much joy to as many people as possible”. Not known for his holiday fashion however, Jeff would be seen on holiday in his Rams gear, beach shorts lighting up every place he went.

Our thoughts are with Jeff’s wife Carolyn and their three daughters and the family as they mourn this tragic loss.

“People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it.”
- George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

Jeff’s colleagues at Aurecon have set up a fundraiser for a sustainable forest and you can donate at jeff-robinson-sustainable-forest.raiselysite.com
