1. Word Document Showing Tracked Changes between current Rules of Association and proposed changes to updated Rules of Association.

The Rules of Association for Moorabbin Rugby Union Football Club are an important document for the running of the club.
Occasionally, it is important to update these rules to reflect best practices, allow for changing technologies, and better reflect the operational requirements of the club.

Upon review, a large number of problems with the current Rules of Association were identified. Some were simple grammatical errors; some were grey areas that were not properly addressed by the current Rules of Association and some items critical to the current running of the club were simply not addressed at all or conflicted with long running practices.

In reviewing the Rules of Association, the 2025 Committee has proposed changes that provide clarity, checks and balances, and improved members' rights and protections, with the aim of laying a solid foundation for the club to move forward with into the future.

Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have about the proposed changes or the Special General Meeting.

Regards,
Matthew Golden
