Moorabbin to Host Semi-Finals - President’s Update

It a pleasure to announce to all members that we will be hosting Dewar Shield semi-finals this weekend at Moorabbin Rugby Club, Harold Caterson Reserve, Keys Rd.

 

The 1st and 2nd grade have had a tough couple of weeks, and full credit to the lads for scraping through to create a great opportunity to see both our two top men's teams compete in the knockout stages at home.

 

Please come down and support your team. Lets give the team that additional leg up with some positive barracking as we go in as underdogs in both matches having suffered losses to both teams in each grade recently.

 

 

Earlier this week we had the pleasure of recognising the efforts of our head coach, Rayne Simpson and the excellent coaching team that has prepared the players for the last two years. The playing group have developed under his leadership into one that is a tight knit ground on and off-the field and they continue to inspire positive action across the club administrators, volunteers and supporters. To all of you, thank you, and we wish you success.

 

The match times have changed due to the semi final requirements, so don't miss the action:

We hope you come down and help support the teams. We need volunteers to put their hands up to help pull off our biggest day yet for the year with junior teams from U6 to U14 playing on the day in the lead up to the finals matches.
