Markcus Ioane and Jack Phillips are taking part in this week's Australian Schools Carnival at Knox Grammar in Sydney, representing the Victorian Schools side. Both are part of our Moorabbin U18s side.
Markus who has played almost all of his junior rugby with Moorabbin is a one of the sides hookers and is versatile enough to play both tighthead and loosehead prop. While at home with Moorabbin he has also been known to cover the back row positions from time to time.
Jack is in his first season of rugby as a convert from Australian Rules and came along thanks to his good mate of Darcy Keating. Jack at this stage plays as a winger for the Vic Schools side and has a prodigious boot.
We would like to wish them all the best for the remaining games of the tour.
